- Press release North Cornwall Advertiser, June edition - St Breward Carnival Week To Hit Bodmin Moor Yet Again! With the memory of last year's very successful carnival still strong in the village, St Breward's Carnival Committee have put together yet another cracking programme for all to come and enjoy. Supported by local organisations and businesses, there will be plenty of fun evenings and daytime activities to stretch your imagination and enjoyment, as well as stretching your pockets for the ongoing fund raising. Starting on Saturday 24th June, Carnival Week naturally climaxes with the ever colourful and entertaining Carnival Procession through the village on Saturday 1st July including marching bands, floats and the local hunt. In the words of Carnival Chairman, Joe Kay, "Our annual carnival is now so well renowned in the area and this year's is, once again,the culmination of a year of well supported preparation and regular fundraising. This is an invitation to all in our village, neighbouring towns, in fact the whole of Cornwall as well as visiting holiday makers - come and enjoy one of those special occasions you will never forget!
